Patricia Buck, PT, GTS, CSCS

Patricia Buck is a board-licensed Physical Therapist in New Jersey, Connecticut, and Nevada. Her career has spanned 50 years working in those 3 states but calling New Jersey her home. She graduated from Ithaca College of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy. She knew from the age of 12 that she wanted to be a Physical Therapist when she began volunteering at a handicapped children’s center. She has followed her passion for treating people of all ages in their journey of recovery and a better life. She has been a manager of PT clinics throughout her career and has been a mentor to many men and women entering the field of Physical Therapy.

Her specialty areas include sports medicine, total joint replacements, geriatrics, pediatrics, and all orthopedic conditions including hand rehabilitation. She has worked extensively with injured athletes with a concentration on soccer, football, baseball, and dance injuries. With her specialty in strength and conditioning, she can assist injured athletes in returning to their sport. She is also quite sensitive to patients’ pain issues and provides support for pain relief during their time in Physical Therapy.

The most rewarding aspect of being a Physical Therapist is taking part in their rehabilitation program from start to finish. Patricia provides 1-1 treatment throughout a patient’s time spent in Physical Therapy. This gives her the knowledge and ability to get to know the patient’s deficits, establish appropriate goals and a plan for treatment, and then discharge.

Patricia grew up in Connecticut spending most of her free time skiing, reading, and sewing. Currently, she spends a great deal of time with her 5 grandchildren, 3 children, and brothers and sisters. She enjoys traveling throughout the USA.
